Today we celebrated ‘ World Earth Day’ 🌍
This was a great opportunity for the whole school to celebrate nature and to raise awareness about how to care for our environment.
Children had the opportunity to explore nature through making their own sculptures in the style of the artist Andy Goldsworthy. The classes were able to enjoy investigative play in our newly developed Eco Garden. There was also outdoor story telling, litter picking, recycling and great discussions about how to save ‘Rosy the Oak Tree’ from being cut down!
