Whisper
An echoing whisper sounded in the mist covered woods,
As the river gets louder the whisper fades,
The mist clears and the sun appears,
The forest is clear, dazzling water flows as a river.
A feral tabby cat is here, bounding through the water.
It leaps up the boulders, jaws full of prey.
Night falls as the stars come, the tabby is nearly home.
It falls asleep in its nest after the meal,
Only for the mist to flood the dark forest again.
The quiet whisper appears.
