Visit from Fire and Rescue Service to P5
9th Nov 2022
Firefighter Hanna visited P5 this week to discuss fire safety and the home. He highlighted potential dangers for fire such as candles, matches/lighters and overloading adapters. Good and bad safety characters were used to emphasis potential dangers.
The importance of having a fire escape plan and bedtime routine for safety at home was discussed and a booklet to use at home was given to all P5 children. All fire alarms should have batteries replaced once a year.
There is nothing more important than you in the event of a fire so get out and stay out if this ever occurs.
