Virtual Sports Day - Thursday 4th June
Anto, our BeeActive fitness coach, has been in contact with me regarding a virtual Sports Day.
“I’ve put together a wee sports day for the children from P1-P7. The emphasis is on being creative and using items that you have in your house. I’m very conscious that not every child will have sports equipment and don’t want these children to be put off participating. The children can practice their sports over the next couple of weeks and then they can hold their own sports day and send the videos photos into their class teachers.
It’s only a suggestion so please don’t feel under any obligation to participate.
Kind Regards
Anto”
I have posted Anto’s instructions for the different activities online today so you can get some practice for all the events. On our sports day you can get your parents to send your videos or photographs to your class teacher, they have shared their details on the Home Learning section of the website. We can then share them online for everyone to enjoy. It’s a good opportunity for everyone to have fun and keep fit during lockdown. We have set the date of our virtual Sports day as Thursday 4th June, so you can all get to work on the different events. There is also a parent’s race so the adults at home won’t miss out on the fun.
Thank you Anto for the great support you have given to pupils, parents and staff throughout the year. We look forward to getting involved in this event.
