As part of their Castles topic work, the pupils were presented with a challenge to build a rope bridge together, using classroom resources. We took inspiration from ‘Shrek’ to build an old rope bridge over the moat of the castle. We saw some very creative design techniques, and many groups tested to see if their rope bridge would stay intact across classroom chairs. Every group was successful!
