Well done to all the boys and girls who took the time to learn a poem for the Speech and Drama Festival. We were so impressed by the talent and confidence of the children. It was very tough decision making for our two judges, Mrs Margaret Flanagan and Miss Grainne Smyth. It is hard for those children who are shy and quiet to get up in front of an audience and we were so proud of them all. Public speaking with expression is a great skill for the children to acquire and we would encourage all children to learn a poem for next year’s competition.
