P6 and P7 had a fantastic day at the Kilmore Coach Hire School’s Gaelic Tournament at Teconnaught GAC. Holy Family, Cedar Integrated and St Joseph’s primary all competed in the girls and boys teams. Holy Family boys were the overall winners and the girls team were runners up in the fiercely contested final. We are so proud of all the boys and girls who showed great determination and super Gaelic skills throughout all the matches. Thank you to the main sponsor, Anthony Gilchrist and to the many organisers of the tournament, namely Mark Canavan and Tony Davis. Thank you to Mrs Fitzsimmons, Mrs Morrow and Mrs Fegan for coaching the teams on the day and for all the parents who helped out and provided the lovely treats and hotdogs to the pupils. This is a fantastic event in our school sporting calendar.
