As part of our topic about Chocolate, P4 carried out an experiment to investigate the effects that different liquids have on our teeth. The shell of a hard boiled egg is similar to the enamel on our teeth. We put 4 eggs in water, vinegar, milk and coke. We observed and recorded the changes that took place over a week period and were shocked at how much the egg shell in coke had changed!! As a class we discussed the importance of brushing our teeth regularly and keeping our sugar intake to a minimum.
