P5 in conjunction with the Ulster Museum participated in 2 interactive workshops based on the theme of Ancient Egypt and the Afterlife. Learning resources and real objects from the museum were provided to the class. This provided the opportunity to look at the past and to experience creating a form of paint that Egyptians wore on their faces through crushing stones. This was an exciting and fun way for the children to experience their World Around Us Topic in school.
