Message from staff regarding study packs

As a staff we have discussed and explored different ways in which we can provide home learning for you and your child.  We have come together and agreed on a weekly overview within each class which will be made available via the school website.  We hope to update this on a fortnightly basis.  This overview will continue to provide you with our weekly spellings and phoneme patterns and a general outline of the other areas of learning for that week.  

We are aware that there are varying abilities within each class and to ensure that your child is working at their own level you can adapt the resources/worksheets provided and we will provide additional teaching tools via hyperlinks to access powerpoints/videos in so far as possible.  

Again, we have agreed together as a staff to support learning at home through the use of the online resource ‘Study Ladder’ (please see attached information) and continue with Mathletics and the accompanying workbooks which are also on the school website.  Lexia is also available to those that currently have access to it.

Due to the nature of home learning we may ask children to carry out some topic based research.  This can be completed using the ‘MY SCHOOL LOGIN’.
