P6 enjoyed taking part in a live lesson with Izac-9 creator, Franz Shlindwein today. Working competitively with lots of other primary schools across Northern Ireland pupils worked in teams to answer numeracy questions using the cubes. Lots of mental strategies were used including, inverse operations, partitioning, sequencing and opportunities to showcase knowledge of prime and square numbers. Izard-9 is a fun, dynamic and highly interactive shared learning resource which our pupils enjoy.
