Home Learning Support
In the light of the news from the Education Minister that schools across Northern Ireland will close due to Covid-19 we have put together packs of work to support the children’s learning.
These packs will be distributed to the children today, however if your child is not at school these packs can be collected from the school office between 1-3pm today or anytime tomorrow. We will have allocated Collection points identified.
Schools will remain closed for the foreseeable future therefore after Easter we have put in place remote learning through the school website. Parents will be able to log onto the school website and under the heading documents is a folder call “Home Learning” once logged in there are folders for each class, these folders will contain a Homework planner with a learning programme for the week, with activities, worksheets as well as links to different websites which will support the learning.
(We have provided answers for some of the activities to support parents.)
These folders will be updated each week with work as the closure continues.
This will go live after Easter and we will provide parents with a password to allow them access to the folders closer to the time.
This is a rapidly changing situation and would ask that parents support their child during this difficult time.
Keep well.

Christopher Curran
