To support our class topic ‘Farm Antics’ the P1 children enjoyed an educational excursion to ‘The Ark Open Farm’, near Newtownards on Wednesday 18th May. While the children enjoyed feeding and petting the animals, their interaction with the various animals varied considerably. The fun was augmented by their use of the extensive outdoor play areas available at the farm. While a trek through the fairytale forest, and a dander in ‘Dinosaur land,was popular,nonetheless, the tractor train ride, was, possibly the highlight.
