As part of P5's EA Resiliance programme the children participated in a drumming workshop led by Siobhan Annang from Releasing Rhythms.
The children were taught how to play in the middle of the drum with the base of their hand and on the edge of he drum. They were creating low and high sounds. They rumbled on the drums and created a Mexican wave. Through listening to each other they were able to close their eyes and continue sounds in a circle. They played the doom drum with sticks and worked together as a team. The workshop provided a wonderful opportunity to release all emotions and learn a new skill.
