As part of COP26 United Nations Climate Change Conference being held next month in Glasgow children all over the world have been asked to make a pledge to the planet and to ask their local council to make a pledge also in the hope of making a difference to tackling Climate Change.
P1-P7 will have the opportunity to make their pledges using a leaf template which will then be collected and sent to the Conference! This is a wonderful opportunity for all children to have a ‘voice’ and to see the potential positives of taking small steps at a local level and how it make a big impact!
I hope to display some of these pledges on a ‘Tree of Promises’ within the school grounds. Photos to follow 😊
