Today the Primary 7s were the first class to take part in our 50th anniversary art project. It began with a visit to Inch Abbey where Mike King led a tour of the historical site. This was followed by a trip to Downe County Museum where local artist Sheena Devitt work with the pupils in sculpting and Linda McKenna gave a tour of the local cathedral and the old gaol. Primary 6, 5 and 4 will get a chance to experience this trip later this week, while next week the Primary 1 - 3 pupils will join with Sheena on art workshops.
