RISE NI have developed a COVID -19 Page Tiger online resource. The link is below.
https://view.pagetiger.com/RISENI/covid19
It has a wealth of information on supporting children’s gross motor skills, fine motor skills, speech, language and communication skills and social emotional wellbeing.
In addition there is a wide range of COVID-19 specific support for parents, e.g. on setting a routine for the day, managing your own mental health and how to talk to children about coronavirus.
For children there are age appropriate videos explaining coronavirus which have been developed by the trust and fantastic activity and resilience video resources from Sarah Ashfield.
There is also a resource pack with a large number of links to other organisations and resources e.g. the book trust has story time videos and drawing tutorials.
In addition the trust have Pinterest pages for ASD, speech language and communication and occupational therapy. These are another excellent source of reliable quality assured activities and resources and there are some specific COVID -19 resources such as social stories available there. The links for these are below.
