Our Energy Power Down Day was a huge success! We reduced our energy usage by nearly 50% and hope to continue these great efforts everyday to sustaining this on a long term basis.
I would like to thank all staff and pupils for their excellent efforts in reduciing the amount of electricity they used on the Power Down Day. Please take a look on the webiste to see some of the activities classes were involved in with using torches and even eating their break by candle light! A huge thank you also to the Primary 7 Eco-councillors Caoimhe and Eoin for taking the meter readings each day and keeping a record of the results.
